Doxia is here to make music from the future, but started out far in his own past. Starting to envision musical ideas around the age of two led to Doxia picking up the drums by age four. Growing up, the larger-than-life sci-fi and superhero movies he loved served as inspiration. He cites this kind of otherworldly art as fuel for his creativity; one song like “runway” makes him come off like some deep-internet cartoon character, while another like “datdatdat” could soundtrack a soda commercial in another galaxy. Since he usually self-produces, each track feels like part of one, cohesive vision. After founding the trialx12 collective, Doxia added artists like Kurtains, Heavn, and Aldn to the group’s roster.
